This project was a tenant improvement for the build-out of a new Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and clean storage capabilities, within the Alex G. Spanos Heart & Vascular Center at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. Being approximately 2,000 square feet, the design worked within the framework of the shelled space and existing care suite to create an environment for this high-end level of care. This introduced capabilities for cardiac mapping, cardiac ablation, and electrophysiology studies. Additional features within the design include multiple lighting and monitor and equipment booms, as well as a pre-fabricated suspended HVAC and lighting ceiling structure above the patient table. The project was delivered in a design-build format and completed in 2017 at a construction cost of approximately $2.5 million. We were able to work with Streamline Construction as our General Contractor on the project.
